Der Anteil von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund im Ruhrgebiet ist im Jahr 2014 um knapp drei Prozent auf mehr als 1,21 Millionen gestiegen. 2012 waren es noch 1,17 Millionen Menschen, die ausl\u00e4ndischer Herkunft waren. Das geht aus Berechnungen des Statistischen Landesamtes IT.NRW hervor. Landesweit ist der Anteil im gleichen Zeitraum um mehr als f\u00fcnf Prozent gestiegen.<br \/>\n2014 hatten damit knapp 24 Prozent aller B\u00fcrger im Ruhrgebiet ausl\u00e4ndische Wurzeln &#8211; etwas mehr als im gesamten Bundesland (23,6 Prozent). Dabei gibt es deutliche regionale Unterschiede: In Bottrop (16,3 Prozent) und dem Kreis Wesel (19,3) ist der Anteil am niedrigsten, in Hamm (34,2 Prozent) und Dortmund (30,1 Prozent) am h\u00f6chsten.<br \/>\nAls Personen mit Migrationshintergrund gelten neben den ausl\u00e4ndischen Staatsb\u00fcrgern auch Personen, die nach 1949 entweder selbst zugewandert sind oder von denen mindestens ein Elternteil aus dem Ausland nach Deutschland zugezogen ist.<br \/>\nInfos:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.it.nrw.de\/\">www.it.nrw.de<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruhrgebiet (idr\/bs).
